Greensboro, NC has always been my home. Even when a job took me to Raleigh and then to the Washington, DC area, my heart was in the Piedmont Triad.
After 15 years away, I returned to the city to find a downtown full of life with the LeBauer Park and the new Tanger Center; a new Midtown area with its colorful murals and a fully updated trail system that can keep even the most active hiker busy for weeks.
Often, you’ll find my family and I walking our dogs, Tyler and Bear on the trails around Lake Brandt and playing Pickleball and Tennis at Bur-Mil Park. I ride my horse, Splash at Northeast Park and local farms. There is never a shortage of outdoor activities in Guilford County.
Whether it’s the weather, the countless outdoor activities or the charming people, Greensboro has so much to offer when looking for a place to settle down. Not to mention, the city has a wealth of great schools, job opportunities and a growing restaurant scene.
